Blue Native Batik Dressage Pad 879
This Oversize dressage cut pad is hand dyed batik. It has a double layer of cotton batting and is heavy enough to chagne your saddle fit a little bit. The pommel will be higher. Janow's pad is like this. The saddlle fit better when he was younger.
Measured from front to back at the widest part, it is 26 and a half inches. Top to bottom at the front of the billet keepers is 24 inches. The bottom is red and white stirped ticking for long wear.
Hand dyed saddle pads
Hand Dyed cotton denim on top. Many dyed with hot wax to resist the dye in a process known as batik. These pads feature cotton canvas or ticking on the battom for very long wearing, and cotton batting inside for absorbption. I have a protype with denim on top and cotton batting that I have been using on Janow and washing for years. These pads are heavier and thicker than the standard commercial pads, but not enough to affect your saddle fit. Treated with Granger's G-Line Sun Sheild to resist fading in UV light.
Cold wash, no bleach, air dry, like most pads.
All of my textile art comes from a smoke free home. Each item is carefully inspected by The Cat Patrol before shipment.
