Orange Mola AP/J Pad 822
This All Purpose/Jumping pad is hand dyed the most vivid orange with a folk-artsy applique design.
Measured from front to back at the widest part, it is 27 inches. Top to bottom at the front of the billet keepers is 20 inches. The bottom is red and white striped ticking. This pad is a little lighter weight than the batik pads below.
This pad was made to go in a non-juried quilt show and isn't exactly what I would have liked, due to the deadline. I didn't dye enough denim for the spine and lining, so the spine is white. I had to piece toghether bits of orange for the last part of the binding. You can see that accross the back if you look at the McGoo View of the last photo. Ride fast and nobody will notice!
I've priced this one as a prototype.
Hand dyed saddle pads
Hand Dyed cotton denim on top. Many dyed with hot wax to resist the dye in a process known as batik. These pads feature cotton canvas or ticking on the battom for very long wearing, and cotton batting inside for absorbption. I have a protype with denim on top and cotton batting that I have been using on Janow and washing for years. These pads are heavier and thicker than the standard commercial pads, but not enough to affect your saddle fit. Treated with Granger's G-Line Sun Sheild to resist fading in UV light.
Cold wash, no bleach, air dry, like most pads.
All of my textile art comes from a smoke free home. Each item is carefully inspected by The Cat Patrol before shipment.
MILPITAS!!!! No shipping to Milpitas because I don't have to ship it, it's already here!
Thanks, Cara
